Betrayal at House on the Hill Expansion Widow’s Walk Released in Fall 2016
So, if you’ve ever wanted a game that lets players explore the haunted house of their dreams and get into epic fights with classic movie monsters as they do it, Betrayal at House on the Hill is for you. It’s got all those things including an immersive atmosphere which makes this one unforgettable experience!
“Betrayal has been around for a long time now. With 50 different haunts and many players having already experienced all of them, the game is growing old for early adopters who enjoy new experiences.”
“But since Betrayal’s first expansion was announced recently by Avalon Hill/Wizards of the Coast, this issue can be solved.”
“In other words: Widow’s Walk will breathe some fresh air into an otherwise aging title (for those veterans).”
What are you most excited about for the new season? For me, it’s all about those Haunts. There will be 50 in total!
The variety of collaborators that went into creating these haunts is amazing. The people behind Avalon Hill included Max Temkin and Eli Halpern who worked on Cards Against Humanity, Keith Baker and Andy Collins both from the Dungeons & Dragons community as well as Jerry Holkins from Penny Arcade! Rob Daviau also contributed to designing some of the tables along with members like Zoe Quinn and Anita Sarkeesian all involved in video games.
This is not my kind of game, but even I have to admit that it resonates with many gamers. The expansion release date makes this a good buy for those who cherish the original!
